With continuous advancements in science and technology, the design and performance of vacuum arc furnaces have greatly improved. During operation, these furnaces produce minimal impurities, maintain low gas content, and exhibit excellent mechanical and physical properties. They are suitable for smelting high-melting-point and reactive metals. To achieve optimal performance, certain installation precautions must be observed.

1. Furnace body connection:
Connect the furnace body to the vacuum arc furnace unit using the linkage pipe. Ensure the pipe is horizontal; if the furnace body is low, it can be raised. When tightening screws, do so symmetrically and gradually.

2. DC power placement and cooling installation:
The DC power supply should be placed next to the furnace body. The upper electrode is installed on top of the furnace body. Assemble the cooling water pipes according to the connection diagram, ensuring no leaks or seepage at joints.

3. Power input:
The vacuum arc furnace power supply must be connected according to the specified requirements to prevent circuit damage or safety hazards.

4. Electrode cabling:
Connect the 150A cables to the output terminals of the DC power supply and to the upper and lower electrodes to ensure proper operation during use.
