Precautions for Using High-Temperature Sintering Furnaces

Understanding relevant precautions can prevent many problems. The main precautions for using high-temperature sintering furnaces are as follows:

1. Strict Temperature Control: The operating temperature must be strictly limited to 1120–1150 °C, otherwise the mesh belt’s lifespan will be greatly reduced.
2. Mesh Belt Failure:
   • The main forms of failure are deformation and elongation beyond the allowable range of 10–20%.
   • The belt material may oxidize, carburize, or fatigue, causing reduced cross-section, fatigue cracks, or even breakage.
   • The mesh belt has a relatively short lifespan (6–9 months) and is costly to replace.
3. Furnace Door Gap:
   • The furnace door should always remain open, with just enough gap for the pressed workpiece to pass.
   • These furnaces require a large amount of protective atmosphere during operation.
